KLH, a constituent of KL University with a 45+ year legacy, marked the 80th Independence Day across its Aziznagar, Bachupally and KLH Global Business School, Kondapur in Hyderabad, bringing together students, faculty and staff for celebrations centred on patriotism, cultural expression and nation-building. The programmes featured flag hoisting, cultural performances, student activities and tributes to India's freedom fighters, with the Aziznagar campus also hosting a Guard of Honour by NCC cadets and the presentation of NCC 'B' Certificates to deserving cadets.

The celebrations across the three campuses reflected India's journey, heritage and aspirations through patriotic songs, cultural performances and student-led activities. The programmes also provided students an opportunity to reflect on the values of unity, responsibility and service associated with the nation's freedom movement.

Addressing the university community on the occasion, Er. Koneru Lakshman Havish, Vice President, KL University, encouraged students to play an active role in shaping India's future. He emphasised education, innovation, technology and entrepreneurship as important avenues through which young people can contribute to nation-building, while urging them to think boldly, act responsibly and contribute towards building a stronger, self-reliant and Viksit Bharat.

The celebrations were led across the campuses by Dr. A. Ramakrishna, Principal, KLH Aziznagar Campus, Dr. L. Koteswara Rao, Principal, KLH Bachupally Campus, and Prof. (Dr.) Anand Bethapudi, Dean, KLH Global Business School, Kondapur. The academic leadership encouraged students to draw inspiration from the sacrifices and ideals of India's freedom fighters and carry those values into their academic, professional, and social lives.

For institutions among the top universities in South India, occasions such as Independence Day also provide an opportunity to connect education with broader civic values. At KLH, the celebrations brought together academic life, student participation, cultural expression, and NCC activities across its Hyderabad campuses.

The programmes concluded with a renewed sense of patriotism and collective responsibility, encouraging students to carry the spirit of freedom forward through purposeful action, innovation and meaningful contribution to society.
